Of course I did not notice until I got home that it was a MEDICATED lip balm. Actually, I didn't even notice until I tried it on (yes, I can be that blonde sometimes). I was thinking, WOW, that is NOT the flavor I was expecting. Lol. You can definitely taste the menthol (.5%) and feel the slight tingle. So if you are looking for a good medicated balm, this is a great bet!
Here are a few things I noticed:
1. My lips did feel super soft and smooth. The menthol taste/feel did not last too long and I was left with amazing feeling lips.
2. The color is MUCH more sheer than I had expected. It was almost as though I was not wearing any color at all. There are several shades to choose from, so when I pick up an unmedicated tube, I will certainly try to find something more pigmented.
3. The cost is very pocketbook friendly.
4. The wrapper has a sticker that you peel off for drug info. My sticker did not lay flat and kept wanting to peel. I tried to peel it off to make the tube smooth and the whole label with the name of the product wanted to come off. This is a little annoying to me, although it is not a deal breaker. I just thought I would give any of my OCD ladies a heads up. It may drive you a little crazy!
Will I try this again in the future? Definitely. My lips feel super amazing (yes, I just said super amazing. I spend my days with over 160 teenagers). I will just be more careful next time and hope that this sticker issue was just a flaw. :)
