Younique 3D Lashes Review with Video

Hello, lovely ladies!  I am beyond excited to share the latest product that I have tested.  Sweet Kelly Brock, who is an independent Presenter for Younique, sent me one of their best selling products called 3D Lashes.  I have played with the product today and am so impressed!  I can't wait to share some info about it with you! ;)

Let's Start with the Basics.  Here are some details about the product according to the website:

Packaged in two separate bottles, the Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers are used together to enhance and magnify your OWN lashes. Watch your lashes transform into something you only dreamed of! A 300% increase in thickness and volume to your lashes while still looking completely real and natural. Potentially "mood-altering" 3D Fiber lashes will quickly become your favorite makeup accessory!
Water resistant, yet easily washes off with warm water and facial cleanser.

When the envelope first arrived, I noticed that it was wrapped in a beautiful purple and black designed tissue paper with the company logo.  This tells me that the company pays attention to detail and take pride in their products.  The second thing that I noticed is that the product came in a very hard shell case that looked like a glasses case.  It was sealed in plastic wrap, so I know that my product had not been used or tampered with.  This is yet another detail that makes me happy with the company.

So of course I ripped off the plastic wrap to check out what was inside.  I was surprised to see two tubes in the case.  They were fit nice and snug with bands that keep the products in place like a brush roll would keep brushes.

I made sure to read the directions that were included in the envelope.  Here are the steps that I followed to get amazingly long, beautiful lashes:

1. Apply a coat of your favorite mascara.  In my case, I used Yes, They're Real by Benefit.  I love that it seperates and lengthens lashes.  I figured since I would be layering, these would be great qualities for my base.

2. After my coat of Yes, They're Real dried, I applied a coat of the Moodstruck Transplanting Gel.  I only applied to one eye as you are supposed to go to the next step with the gel still wet.

3. Next you apply a coat of the Moodstruck Natural Fibers.  I was actually surprised when I opened the tube.  It did not look like a typical mascara wand, but more like a fuzzy wand with cloth-looking fibers all over it.  I swept the wand over my eyelashes and the fibers attached to the wet gel.  I have to admit, at first it didn't seem that pretty to me because you could see the fibers on my lashes.  That's okay, because it was fixed in the next step. :)

4. Now you apply another coat of the Moodstruck Transplanting Gel.  This makes the fibers "melt" into your lashes for a look of lash extensions.  Since I only did one eye at a time, I was able to tell a major difference.  That is saying a lot, because Yes, They're Real is my go to mascara for doll lashes! I am beyond impressed with the results!

The cost of this product is $29 and can be found on the Younigue website.
